The Mildred, Newport for London with basic slag, struck under Gurnards Head at midnight on the 6th April 1912, whilst in dense fog. She swung broadside and was pounding heavily when Captain Larcombe, the mate, two Irishmen, one Welshman and a Mexican from Vera Cruz rowed into St. Ives at 6am. They later returned in a pilot gig but the Mildred was already going to pieces.

In an attempt to raise some funds for a new camera, I was thinking about selling some large prints I produced back in 2011-2012 (mostly from my BFA thesis project at Concordia entitled “Tales of Melancholy”). I’m hoping to just get an idea of how many/if anyone would be interested in a print. The sizes range from 20x30 - 40x60 inches and are printed on high quality photorag paper (really nice, deep colours). Send me an email (yulibow@gmail.com) if interested and I can let you know how much I’m selling for and which prints I have available. Local purchases (Montreal and area) preferred but I’d be willing to also mail out as well.
